Last year Nike Air Max Plus celebrated its 25th anniversary, in mark of this Sam captured the shoes using a new process of capturing imagery, Gaussian Splat.

The process works by firing off many still cameras all at once. Then, using AI-based software (server-based), it creates a 3D image you can travel around in any way you want using Unreal Engine. All the lighting was done on camera with a mixture of flash and hand-held tube lights, and very little post was carried out after.
